codes in Dark Grey and Dull Red. The character shapes are adopted from
official Ministry of Aircraft Production standards, and we've mixed in some
field-applied "interpretations" to fill out the sheets. These are
especially useful for wartime "bomber-sized" aircraft in both Bomber
and Coastal commands, as well as many oddly marked small and larger aircraft

the codes selections, the serial character shape coverage is more expansive,
covering early and late war shapes as well. The 8" selections were used
on most bomber types while the others were spec for many smaller types as
well as some twin-engined bombers. Royal Navy titles are also included for
Fleet Air Arm aircraft. |
